Coach Todd received his initial training in health at the Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He advanced through their 600 and 1200 hour programs and started a successful medical manual therapy practice treating patients with a holistic approach including manual manipulation, exercise and stretching rehabilitation, nutrition, herbal medicine and acupuncture.
He went on to study Nursing at Western Michigan University and received his Masters degree in Public Administration with a focus on public health and non-profit management from Grand Valley State University. Todd’s passion for helping people led him to become the Closed Head & Spinal Cord Injury Program Director at Health Care Associates & Community Caregivers.
During this time, the desire to reach a greater audience with the critical, preventive health information he learned led him to start A Shot of Adrenaline, one of the largest bodyweight exercise resources online and soon after, Feel Good Life, a resource helping people 50+ eliminate joint pain using natural techniques.
Fun Fact: Todd and his wife Allison now travel full time in a large 41ft 5th wheel RV with their 4 precious kids (age 7 and under). Allison shares more of their adventures on Instagram.
