About Samantha Wood, DPT, MEd, PT
Samantha Wood, DPT, MEd, PT, currently works as a Physical Therapist at Saco Bay Physical Therapy all over southern Maine. This is her second career after working as a math teacher in Arizona and earning a Masters of Education. After working in education she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duke University where she also became certified as a Group Fitness Instructor.
Samantha has had the privilege of working in outpatient sports settings, skilled nursing facilities, and in a hospital with patients after total joint replacements. She is passionate about health and is eager to help people live a more pain-free life.
While she spends most of her time working in the health and fitness field she also enjoys anything to do with crafting and can often be found working on art projects on the weekends. Check out her crafts featured on her Instagram @sea_salt_wood_designs.
